Sponsorship
Participation in the Accessible World
ClickAndGo Wayfinding Maps are being offered to sponsoring universities, agencies, hotels, airports, museums, and facilities of all kinds.
We have developed a state-of-the-art wayfinding website that is fully accessible to blind and deafblind users. Our site allows each sponsoring facility the opportunity to create any number of landmarks and detailed walking routes using your individual site editor (for which you will have log-in access). If you are a school or agency for the blind, then you already have the mobility personnel necessary to assist in the compilation of the narrative route data for your facility. We can guide you in this process, and assist you in the use of the editor. Once you have placed the landmark and route information in the editor, the narrative routes become immediately available with voice or Braille output, and also available via telephone through our Interactive Voice Technology service.
If you are not a facility with mobility specialists on staff, we can assist you in the creation of appropriate routes, and also guide you in the further development and expansion of your routes as your needs arise.
For example, if you are a university site and wish to provide this narrative mapping service for your blind students, we can assist you in compiling the initial data necessary for guided route travel along the main routes on your campus. This may mean routes from the main public transportation sites (i.e., bus, light rail) to the student center, the disability office, the recreation center, auditorium, main classroom buildings, etc. Your blind students can then make individual requests for the addition of specific routes as their class schedule changes, and according to their individual needs. We can work with you directly, or we can provide guidance to your consulting mobility specialists who work every year with your blind or deafblind students. In a real sense, your narrative mapping service for blind students will grow much like information is enhanced through the Wikipedia model.
If you represent a museum, airport, hotel or other facility, we can provide you with all of the assistance necessary to make your site fully accessible to blind and deafblind consumers.
